This pretty much goes for pushing it to a different platform at all, why even do it if the install base is on PC, etc.

More Steam integration with a different platform since there are things like collectables, the hat market, etc that I bet Valve wouldn't want to invest time with.

I'm not sure if Sony has a policy where they can't push updates as quickly as Steam can/does. As in, for PC it's obviously quick to find an issue and have it patched.

Updates might have to be distributed differently.Servers would probably have to split up for KB/M and controller players, might lead to dedicated servers which I don't think Valve would appreciate unless Sony foot the bill (and hey, why not since we pay for PS+ multiplayer now anyway).Sony and Valve have worked together before with Portal 2 on PS3, so could there be a slim chance of TF2 coming to PS4? A few things come to mind in why it won't though Valve have done an amazing job of making TF2 what it is today, transitioning from retail to F2P. Since the PS4's launch, Sony and devs have working together to get free to play games on the console which is great in my opinion.
